[061] Go-To Expet Series Part 2: HOW You...

Kara Ronin
About this episode

How to become known as a go-to expert. Becoming known as a go-to expert in your field or industry is incredibly important for emerging leaders and high-achieving professionals.

You want to become known in your area of expertise. You want to build your brand and reputation. You want to rise higher than the rest. You want to have everyone know who you are, what you do, what you’re an expert in, and how you can help them.

Becoming known as a go-to expert is helpful whether you’re an employee or an entrepreneur. When you become known as a go-to expert as an employee, it makes promotions easier. Your boss and colleagues inside your company already know that you’re a go-to expert so you become an easy hire.

When you’re a go-to expert as a consultant, coach or other business owner, it makes finding clients easier because people trust go-to experts.

There are so many positive impacts on your career and business when you develop a go-to expert reputation. And in this episode, you will start to learn “how” you can develop a go-to expert reputation now.

In this episode, I talk about:

  • The pre-requisite for becoming a go-to expert.
  • Impostor Syndrome for go-to experts.
  • Working out your area of expertise you want to be known for (niching down).
  • Creating great content for social media platforms (including LinkedIn).
  • Speaking at events (yes, public speaking!).
  • Writing guest posts and articles.
  • Getting interviewed on podcasts.

After each of the five ideas, I share with you an action step to help you know where to start.

If you have ever wondered how you can become known as a go-to expert, then this podcast episode and YouTube video are for you.
