Riders Unscripted: Healing in the Warmup

Ride iQ
About this episode

In this episode, Natalie works through visualization exercises with one of her clients, who is overwhelmed in the warmup ring at jumping competitions and wants to learn how to stay present in that environment. They discuss an experience she had as a kid where she was scared after a fall and didn’t receive the support and security she needed to process that fear. Natalie guides her through an exercise to help her turn towards fear so that she can heal her younger self and be one step closer to widening her nervous system’s capacity to handle the warmup arena.
