Your environment should be a space that supports you, not takes away from your life. You shouldn't constantly be reacting to the mess around you, but instead have the space to respond. This also goes for your schedule - we can often feel as though our schedules are packed with things we have to do, leaving us no time for things we actually enjoy or are meaningful to us, or even feeling like those things are a burden. Developing healthy habits is the best way to gain control of your physical space and your calendar.
