In today's episode, I answer the following listener query in a general capacity:
"I’ve been listening to your podcast & I’ve found it really helpful so thank you for that. I just listened to your podcast on best advice for overcoming binge eating & your first tip is one I have heard a lot- you can’t get a better relationship with food & loose weight at the same time.
As I am on journey to having a better relationship with food I feel like this is a mistake I keep slipping back into. I don’t mean to do it on purpose but I think it’s because the food I know is good for me is the food that I once associated with helping me to loose weight. I can’t shake that mind set. For example I start my morning with 2 wheatabix & skimmed milk. I know this will keep me full for the morning & also provide me with some beneficial vitamins etc. However I also know this is low in calories so I’m getting my day off to a right start for loosing weight.
Have you any tips on how to overcome this? Thanks for your time & help so far."
