Toddlers Hitting, Biting, and Throwing T...

Lisa Bunnage
About this episode

#054 In today’s episode, Lisa goes through ten listener questions around the topic of toddlers hitting, biting, and throwing things.

Before the questions, she explains whether or not all toddlers have this behaviour, what age Lisa considers to be a toddler, and how she approaches discipline at this age.

These toddler questions cover throwing things during a tantrum, throwing things at a newborn, sudden hitting, kicking, and pushing since starting nursery, is throwing things just a phase, how to use consistent corrective actions when there is nothing fun to take away, throwing things at mealtimes, biting older siblings, how to approach head banging, when a child is rougher with one parent over another, and how to stop biting and hitting.
