067 - Raising Great Eaters Without Press...

Michelle Grosser - Inspired by Brene Brown, Mel Robbins & Rachel Hollis
About this episode

Real talk – I’m the parent of a picky eater, and it can be so frustrating. If any of you have faced mealtime meltdowns, picky-eating battles, non-stop snackers, or kids who refuse to touch anything green, this episode is for you!

Courtney Bliss, Pediatric Dietician and founder of Feeding Bliss, is changing the narrative around healthy eating.  Her perspective is so refreshing as she shares insight and practical tips on how we can all raise great eaters without pressure, bribing, manipulation, or guilt.

Three things you’ll learn in this episode:

  1. How to approach selective (picky) eating
  2. How to introduce non-preferred/new foods
  3. Why we should avoid labeling foods as healthy/unhealthy, good/bad, etc.

To connect with Courtney, head to:

It's this idea that we have - eat your dinner, and then you get your sweets. Have the body that you want, and then you get happiness. Have these perfect, organic, balanced meals that Goop is telling you about, and then your children will be angels. It is such a mind trap! But if you teach your kids to listen to themselves, and if you do that work in yourself - if you bust some of those myths of being perfect enough, looking the right way, serving the right foods - you will do such a service for your children.” Courtney Bliss
