About this episode
Book your free session directly, visit: www.robertjamescoaching.com   Does ERP always work for OCD is a question that I often hear. The research shows that ERP really does work well for OCD, so why do some people find that it doesn't work for them?    Today we take a look at some of the problems people can encounter with ERP to help you find find ways to overcome those problems. In my personal experience exposure work is an important part of the puzzle with overcoming OCD and if it isn't working, that doesn't mean that it won't, but rather it might need to be applied in different ways in order for you to find success with it.    A big part of this process if communication. Opening up lines of communication with your ERP therapist/specialist is essential to overcoming any potential problems that might come up.    As always I hope you enjoy and if you have any questions, please do let me know.    Want to support the podcast in return for exclusive content and more access to me?
