335: How I'm Adjusting My Period So I Do...

Monica Yates
About this episode

(Tangible tips and important notes when shifting your cycle *safely and slowly*)

Have you ever noticed that you’re going to have your period on a majorly important day, like I don’t know… maybe your upcoming WEDDING perhaps!? Eek! Monica herself noticed this a couple of months ago and decided that although she loves her period, she needed to get proactive in adjusting her cycle just a bit to move her period to her follicular or ovulation phase — and leave the late luteal / menstrual phase for her post-wedding recovery season AFTER all of the celebrations and festivities. 😉

And after dozens of messages from women writing in saying they wanted to know the HOW — today, she’s breaking it all down for you step-by-step, while also being mindful to do this safely and slowly for your body. Fun fact: she’s only been implementing these tips for a month, and it’s ALREADY WORKING. Prepare to have your mind blown in the best way. 🔥

(PS. This episode is powerful for you even if you aren’t trying to change your period for an event, but are looking to shorten or lengthen any phase for a more optimal cycle health-wise.)

Inside this episode, she’s giving you the juice on:

🩸why this isn’t just as simple as elongating your cycle

🩸the importance of bio-individuality and knowing your own body

🩸why men can have a fully flat stomach, but women can’t (and shouldn’t)

🩸changing your period SAFELY and slowly

🩸how to begin working *with* your body

🩸the role that trauma plays in your connection with your body

🩸the hormone issues that so many women are facing today

🩸the power of light cycling & moon bathing

🩸the way the moon affects your cycle

🩸breaking down the role that progesterone & melatonin play in your cycle
