It’s Okay to Feel Parenting Burnout

MICHELLE KENNEY, M. ED
About this episode

Today we'll be exploring the topic of burnout - a feeling that is common among many of us, yet often kept to ourselves. As someone who has been a parent for 18 years, I understand the never-ending responsibilities that come with parenthood, as well as the unique challenges of raising children. Many parents can feel isolated and struggle to balance their personal identity with the demands of parenting, which can take a toll on their mental and emotional health. That's why it's essential to make time for self-care, as it can help us rediscover our inner strength and self-worth.

It's crucial to acknowledge the difficulties of parenting and have honest discussions about them. If you have ever experienced the weight of parenthood, this episode is for you.
