15 Signs You're Eating Too Much Sugar

IntimateAudioStories.com
About this episode

Here are some warning signs you’re eating too much sugar! While there’s nothing wrong with occasional sugar cravings, the effects of sugar on the body can lead to serious health problems. Many people joke around saying they are addicted to sugar. But it turns out, they very well just might be! That’s because consuming sugar releases dopamine in the brain - the neurotransmitter that makes us feel happy. No wonder so many people find themselves craving sweets more than they would like to admit. When it comes to the sweet stuff though, there is too much of a good thing.  Most people don’t pay too much attention to their sugar intake, because they often associate high sugar symptoms with diabetes. But too much glucose in the blood causes sugar highs followed by drastic lows - leading to all kinds of unpleasant symptoms. In addition, high amounts of fructose can significantly increase cardiovascular risks.  Since high blood sugar levels are linked to numerous health issues, it’s important to educate yourself about the effects of too much sugar. You need to learn to recognize the symptoms of high sugar in your diet - so you know when it’s time to cut back.

Psychology allows people to understand more about how the body and mind work together.
