Johann’s work examines why addiction, anxiety and depression is rife in today’s society. The likes of Oprah Winfrey and Elon Musk have praised his work and writing, his TED talks have been viewed more than 75 million times.

Marisa and Johann explore the causes of mental health issues together to understand why we might be looking in the wrong places for solutions. 

Their conversation covers:

  • Why our “junk values” are causing depression
  • Modern society and the paradigm that is fuelling anxiety 
  • Johann’s painful experiences with addiction in his own life and family
