There is a collective exhaustion going on. I know weâre all feeling it. This year has been tough in so many ways and Iâm tired. People think I do it all, Iâm hustlinâ, Iâm some sort of Superwoman and yâall know I do get shit done, but it has been at the expense of my health for sure.
I have not been looking after my body this year. Specifically, when I started writing my book and I put that first above all else, it was a slippery slope from there. Iâve gained weight, my body hurts, Iâm exhausted and I need to rest.Â
So this episode today is a reminder that no one can work all the time, hustle all the time and come out the other side just fine. Our bodies will tell us what they need whether weâre listening or not. It will catch up with you. Put yourself first. Set your priorities to always include what YOU need above all else, and take some time off.
