Mom Hacks with Dr. Darria Gillespie

Carolyn Coker Ross, MD, MPH
About this episode

Taking the lessons she learned from her bout with arthritis plus the mentality that lets her feel competent in her work as an ER doctor, Dr. Darria Long Gillespie created a system so that she and every other woman out there can handle anything in the world and say, “I’ve got this.” She joins the show to discuss her recently published book, Mom Hacks. The book is not just for moms, however. It offers over 100 scientifically-based strategies to make it easier to eat better, be more active, manage stress, and develop resilience that anyone can benefit from.
