TAP118: Preparing for your type rating

MATT
About this episode

In this episode, Matt shares some practical advice for pilots preparing to start an A320 type rating, looking at what is worth learning before day one and, just as importantly, what not to spend too much time worrying about.

He discusses useful preparation, getting familiar with the aircraft and its systems, approaching the course with the right mindset and using the correct training material. The aim is to arrive well prepared, organised and ready to make the most of what is already a very intensive training course.
