Sl: Ljubljanski Botanični vrt je bil tih in zavit v odtenke jeseni.
En: The Ljubljanski Botanični vrt was silent and wrapped in shades of autumn.
Sl: Listje je šuštelo pod nogami Maje in Luke, ko sta hodila po vijugastih poteh vrta.
En: Leaves rustled under the feet of Maja and Luka as they walked along the winding paths of the garden.
En: The air smelled of October freshness as Maja looked at the surroundings full of orange and brown colors.
Sl: "Čudovito je, kajne?
En: "It's beautiful, isn't it?"
En: said Luka as they stopped by a small pond.
Sl: "Tako mirno.
En: "So peaceful.
Sl: Kot kakšen slikovit raj v središču mesta.
En: Like some picturesque paradise in the middle of the city."
En: Maja smiled, but there was a shadow of worry in her eyes.
Sl: "Je," je pritrdila.
En: "It is," she agreed.
Sl: "Ampak zadnje čase se težko sprostim.
En: "But lately, I find it hard to relax.
Sl: Ves čas razmišljam o tem, kaj vse moram zdaj spremeniti.
En: I keep thinking about all the things I need to change now."
Sl: "Luka je pogledal proti njej z nežnostjo in skrbjo.
En: Luka looked at her with tenderness and concern.
Sl: "Vem, da ni lahko.
En: "I know it's not easy.
En: But it's important to take things gradually.
Sl: Majhni koraki.
En: Small steps."
Sl: "Maja je pokimala, vendar je ostala tiha.
En: Maja nodded but remained silent.
En: Her thoughts drifted back to the moment she learned about her diagnosis.
Sl: Diabetes.
En: Diabetes.
Sl: Beseda, ki je spremenila njen svet.
En: A word that changed her world.
En: She felt like she would no longer be able to enjoy the little things and would constantly be on guard.
Sl: "Luka, strah me je, da bom izgubila to spontanost.
En: "Luka, I'm afraid I'll lose that spontaneity.
En: Life has always been a puzzle I wanted to explore," she confessed as autumn raindrops began to dance in the lake in front of them.
Sl: "Razumem te, Maja.
En: "I understand you, Maja.
Sl: Ampak tvoje življenje še vedno ima toliko lepih stvari.
En: But your life still has so many beautiful things.
Sl: S tem lahko živiš polno, mogoče celo bolj polno, ker boš več premišljevala, kje so tvoje meje," je modro odvrnil Luka.
En: You can live fully, maybe even more fully, because you will think more about where your limits are," Luka replied wisely.
En: The leaves rustled in the wind, as if echoing his words.
En: Maja sighed and leaned against the pond railing.
Sl: "Morda imaš prav.
En: "Maybe you're right.
Sl: Mogoče...
