Sl: Tomaž se je naslanjal na okensko polico in zrl v hribe, ki so se dvigali v daljavi za internatom v Julijskih Alpah.
En: Tomaž was leaning against the windowsill, gazing at the mountains rising in the distance behind the dormitory in the Julian Alps.
Sl: Pogledi so bili čudoviti, a Tomaž je ostal zamišljen.
En: The views were magnificent, but Tomaž remained pensive.
Sl: Njegov um je bežal drugam, k prijateljem, ki jih ni imel.
En: His mind wandered elsewhere, to friends he didn't have.
