In this episode of the Barbell Rehab Podcast we sit down with Dr. Miles Nicholas to discuss training like an athlete. We chat about what this means, misnomers and confusion, pros and cons and how to practically integrate this. We discuss training considerations around rate of force development, peak force, plyometrics, change of direction and kinetic linking. We also dive into in season programming considerations and any potential concerns around the "interference effect".

We finish with a brief discussion around ACL return to sport and preparation for those beginning to ski/snowboard. Miles can be found on IG @miles_barbellrehab.
