Getting Laid Off, Navigating Tricky Frie...

ALLISON WETIG AND CEARA KIRKPATRICK
About this episode

Ep 224: WWYBD (what would your bestie do) is where we answer listener-submitted questions. You can submit questions any time via our website, and then we pull questions to fit a specific theme.

In the catch up segment, Allison and Ceara share about what they’ve been up to lately. Allison feels like her nervous system is more regulated than ever due to slowing down, less screen time, outsourcing work tasks, studying Ayurveda, and limiting caffeine and alcohol. Ceara has been house hunting after four years at her current home in St. Louis, is looking forward to a picnic in the park over the weekend and is on week 10/12 of her current workout program 1-2-3 Lagree.

WWYBD QUESTIONS ASKED:

  • Can you be friends with someone who’s also friends with someone you really don’t like?
  • How do I stay working in corporate America without feeling like just a number or that I’m sacrificing my sanity?
  • I am having a complete quarter life crisis. How do you balance the reality that life isn’t fair, and that success requires relentless effort, while simultaneously watching others in your circle seem to progress with far less struggle?
  • How do you decide where you want to live? My fiancé is a pilot and gets to choose one of 80 locations around the country to be stationed in.
