Overcoming ''Accent Anxiety'', A British...

ETJ English
About this episode

Want to work with me on your pronunciation? Head to https://www.etjenglish.com

In this episode, I’m sharing an update on my New Year’s goals—especially how I’m trying to read more and why I believe fiction gives you wisdom and empathy in ways that non-fiction can’t. 📚

I’ll also be talking about my students and a common struggle they’re facing: anxiety about speaking in a British accent. If you’ve ever felt self-conscious about your pronunciation, I’ll give you practical advice to help you build confidence.

And for a bit of storytelling, I’ll be sharing an exciting British folk tale—The Legend of the Lambton Worm!  This eerie tale of a cursed knight, a monstrous worm, and an ancient prophecy will transport you straight into England’s folklore.

Stay tuned for a packed episode full of insights, motivation, and a great story! 🎧
