Jennifer Mackey Mary
About this episode

Do you have a favorite way to buy clothes? Do you prefer to shop online, with a glass of wine and no bra? Or do you like to put on pants and actually go to the store? When it comes to building a fabulous, functional wardrobe, is there a "best way to shop? That’s what this episode is all about!

In a previous episode, I shared the difference between Hunting and Gathering, two common approaches to shopping. Today, we're digging a little deeper into just how we build our wardrobes, taking on online vs in-store shopping, and discovering whether one is better than the other.

I'm sharing the pros and cons of each, and times where one shopping strategy has a clear advantage.

I'm also breaking down how they stack up when it comes to saving time, saving money, building a quality wardrobe, and building a stylish wardrobe.

I hope these tips inspire you to be thoughtful about the way you shop, so you can end up with a wardrobe that's perfect for you.

In This Episode:

  • The pros and cons of in-store and online shopping
  • When online shopping is a better idea, and when in-store shopping is a better move.
  • The one item that you should buy in-store (when at all possible)
