About this episode

Today, I'm having another incredibly stimulating, exciting, and interesting conversation with Dr. David Wiss. I was drawn to Dr. Wiss because he's been opening doors to a conversation that is pretty controversial in my field.

At the professional level in the dietetic world, there is this polarization happening. Either you are 'anti-diet' or you are part of the 'diet culture' problem. As an eating disorder professional, this has been really confusing to navigate. And even though I've been timid to discuss this topic, after doing my own research and diving into my own approach, I decided I really need to have this conversation.

Dr. Wiss has been making waves with his research in this field. He's expanded the conversation, in the dietetic world, by inviting in ideas about food addiction, and really bridging the gap between mental health and nutrition.

Tune in for this fascinating conversation, and get a behind the scenes look on what's been going on in the nutrition world, while gaining clarity on aligning your health journey with your own empowered eating values.
