Sometimes “inclusion” can feel like nothing more than a buzzword. But there’s one clinician out there that is taking active steps to help children with special medical needs feel seen and included. Mary Jenner, RN, BSN, OCN is the owner of The Butterfly Pig, a company that creates toy medical devices that are sized for dolls and stuffed animals. To date, she has created miniature feeding tubes and pumps, insulin pumps and pens, respiratory devices, leg braces, hearing aids, and so much more.
