Ep 101: The Ups, Downs, And Reality Of H...

Jeremy + Audrey Roloff
About this episode

Did you know we are remodeling our home? 😜 If you didn’t it’s ok! We haven’t done the best job sharing about it online. Renovating our home means we’ve moved in with family. It’s us, our kids, and Audrey’s parents navigating life, homeschooling, work, and the renovation. And it has been quite overwhelming! 🥴

A big question we are getting about all this is … “how is it living with your parents?” That question typically comes with the expectation of a negative answer. But honestly, for us, it has been a huge blessing and has gone way better than we anticipated. Want to know why? Listen in!

We’re diving into the chaos, the reality, the beauty, and everything in between as we share about our home renovation journey so far. 🏠

*Still in stock!!* Have you grabbed our heirloom Memories of Christmas journals yet?!!🎄These beautiful 25-year Christmas memory books are the perfect way to record and cherish your Christmas memories, photos, cards, and recipes throughout the years and precious keepsake to pass down through the generations. They are available for podcast listeners at memoriesofchristmasjournal.com

In this episode we talk about:

  • Why we decided to live with family instead of staying somewhere else
  • Expectation management + how we’re applying this to our current living situation
  • The reason we aren’t putting the renovation on YouTube
  • What the renovation is teaching us about how we treat people in life
