Anyone-Can-Cook Guide

Katie Bulmer
About this episode

Today's guest, Bri McKoy is an "accidental home cook", the author of Come & Eat, and a lover of gathering people around her everyday table. But she wasn’t always a fantastic cook, in fact in her 20s she was most decidedly not a cook. But one night, over take out Thai, she realized that she and her husband couldn’t go into debt ordering dinner in every night. She is the creator of The Everyday Kitchen Masterclass, a five-week online course that teaches people how to become more confident home cooks.

We chat about:

  1. Confidence versus perfection in the kitchen

  2. Where to start in the kitchen when you don't know where to start

  3. What tools you need to change your cooking life

  4. How anyone can have a dinner party (it doesn't have to be complicated)

Find stories and recipes on her food blog at OurSavoryLife.com or watch her videos with recipe tips and tricks and read her reflections on Instagram @brimckoy
