Do You Feel Like Your Own Worst Enemy Wh...

COREY LITTLE
About this episode

Do you ever feel like a rebellious teenager when you’re on a diet?

Do you ever feel like you’re fighting with yourself when it comes to losing weight?

If so, then this episode is for you! There's something lurking in the back of our brain that holds us back. Often, we usually totally miss it. And even if we do kind of figure it out, we usually go about solving this problem all wrong. You don’t overcome resistance by simply trying to get rid of it. You overcome it by shifting your focus.

Our brain is stuck trying to figure out the same problem in the same way that we’ve always attempted in the past. And, for many of us, it simply ain’t working! If it hasn’t worked over and over again in the past, then it probably isn’t going to magically work now.

Maybe it’s time to start thinking in a slightly different way and take a fresh approach to the problems and struggles we experience with eating healthy, consistently exercising, and losing weight.

We’ll cover that, along with the underlying reasons we fight ourselves and feel resistance and how a client overcame emotional eating while still enjoying food!
