#809: The Rehab Coach with Milos Pesic

InnerFight
About this episode

In this episode of Five Minute Mondays, coach Milos, a rehab coach, discusses the importance of bridging the gap between physiotherapy and resuming normal physical routines. After completing his master's degree in physical therapy, he joined InnerFight and began working as a rehab coach.

He highlights the issue of disconnect that often occurs between physiotherapy and returning to activities after an injury. Milos's main goal is to rebuild the neuromuscular connection with his clients, as neglecting this connection can lead to further complications. He emphasizes the difference between physiotherapy, which focuses on fixing problems, and rehab coaching, which aims to identify and address the root cause of the problem. He also emphasizes the importance of starting with a strong foundation in the feet and gradually assessing and addressing the knees, hips, and shoulders.

Stay tuned for future episodes where these areas will be explored further.
