In this episode of The Kriya Yoga Podcast, please enjoy a discussion with Vedic Astrologer and Ayurveda Doctor Ryan Strong. Mr. Strong and I discuss the value of Ayurveda as a profound support for Kriya Meditation practice.

Ryan Phillip Strong is an experienced natural health practitioner, herbalist and educator. Ryan is an Ayurvedic Doctor, a Professional Member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, he is a certified Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist;  a Vedic Astrologer, and is a Spiritual Teacher in the Kriya Yoga Lineage.

Ryan spent 19 years studying Kriya Yoga in discipleship training under his Guru Mr. Roy Eugene Davis (a direct disciple of Parmahansa Yogananda). Ryan was ordained by Mr. Roy Eugene Davis in May of 2011 to continue the Kriya Yoga tradition.

Ryan runs The Center for Ayurvedic and Yogic Healing in Sacramento, California. He works with students and clients around the world. Ryan is also on faculty and teaches clinical Ayurveda for The California College of Ayurveda.
