118 | The 11 Things I Wish I Would Have ...

LINDSEY MAESTAS
About this episode

In today's episode, Lindsey Maestas talks about the best pieces of advice she ever received, and also the advice she wishes she would have received, as an expecting and new mom. She discusses prioritizing sleep as a newborn mom, not allowing the enemy to fill you with guilt over things like supplementing with formula or switching to bottle feeding, making time for self-care, and not overburdening both parents with the duties of a new baby. She discusses dealing with postpartum anxiety and depression as a Christian, struggling to feel "human" as a new mom, and the importance of allowing God into every aspect of your parenthood, rather than compartmentalizing Him.
