134. Sleep Training Your Babies, Toddler...

Stephanie Uchima-Carney - Business Strategist, MBA, Health & Wellness Coach
About this episode

Many of you have followed the last 3+ years of my #OperationRoomShare journey. I’ve had my ups and downs with my kids' sleep which in turn affects us, the parents, getting a good night’s rest. We all know the importance of sleep for adults and your overall health, but sometimes those kids don’t let you get good zzzs. So today I’m bringing on a mom friend and sleep consultant, Brittany Sheehan, to chat all about getting kids to sleep!

Brittany Sheehan is a Los Angeles-based sleep consultant and founder of Brittany Sheehan Sleep, a company that offers one-on-one support for families struggling with sleep, as well as online courses, from birth through age 7. She also hosts a sleep & parenting podcast, The Snooze Button.

Brittany is a working mom of three little ones and has transitioned careers from marketing in the New York City luxury fashion industry to an entrepreneur.

In this episode, Brittany and I chat all about

  • Her recent solo trip with one of her three kids and the importance of 1-1 time with individual kids
  • Her transition from marketing to sleep consulting and becoming and entrepreneur
  • The top three mistakes she sees parents making with their kids and sleep
  • Sleep strategies to help sleep train your baby, toddler or kid
