She's the developer of the Trauma Buster Technique, a fast, efficient and simple tool that helps trauma victims recover and lead a more functional and satisfying life again. 

We talk about her technique, the results you can get with it, and she shares some amazing stories of transformation. She says:

The only pain you experience (during the use of this technique) -which you experience daily anyway- is to think about what the trauma is. This is just to get a base-line. After this you immediately start the tapping to bring down the anxiety levels. 

We use what's going on in the body and the mind to elicit the response from a trauma and then "tap" so that the levels of the stress hormone come down. It's like pavlovian conditioning; it's un-pairing the response with the traumatic experience.
