About this episode

Eman invites Gut Health Nutritionist, Sarah Tarek, to talk about PMS (also known as, Premenstrual Syndrome) which happens during one of the four phases of the menstrual cycle that women go through. During this phase, most women suffer from uncomfortable symptoms such as anxiety, cravings, depression and hyper-hydration. Sarah breaks down the four types of PMS, what causes them, as well as what changes in diet and lifestyle that can reverse many of these uncomfortable symptoms. The episode also covers the important hormones that impact the menstrual cycle and why gut health is directly linked to how balanced these hormones are.
