Processed food has really gotten a bad reputation. But is it fair? Is processed food really that bad? Just because a food has a long list of ingredients or has chemicals you cannot pronounce doesn’t necessarily make it unhealthy – or does it? Here to discuss this is George Zaidan, an MIT trained chemist who created National Geographic’s web series Ingredients: The Stuff Inside Your Stuff and he is author of the book Ingredients: The Strange Chemistry of What We Put in Us and on Us (https://amzn.to/2Zykgij) . Listen as he explains what some of these ingredients are in processed food, why they are there and just how dangerous or healthy they are.
