Kate’s been getting a little hate on some of her posts lately. And I get it too!
There are always going to be people that disagree with you and that's ok but sometimes, when something challenges a person’s belief system, people can get a bit nasty… But we know that this is often not the entire story each and every time, so we decided to have a chat about this whole ‘cancel culture.’
When it comes down to it, we are all just doing our best with the information we currently have. Kate and I dive deeper into this whole topic:
We talk about:
➡️ Realising that there isn’t ONE truth out there and that there are many different perspectives
➡️ A lot of different avenues can make you a healthier human being so blocking one perspective from your circle may not be the best idea
➡️ Different mindsets, such as being tired, hungry, or even drunk, can play a role in people’s reactions
➡️ You don’t have to respect another’s opinion but you have to allow people to have a different opinion
➡️ How attacking people never helps
➡️ You don’t know what you don’t know
➡️ How dieting and stress can play a huge part
