In this week's episode host Laura Reagan, LCSW-C interviews Patricia Young, LCSW, a clinical social worker and coach specializing in working with Highly Sensitive People (HSP). Patricia is also the host of the Unapologetically Sensitive Podcast.

Patricia knows what it’s like to feel like an outcast, misfit, truth-teller or black sheep. Learning about being a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), helped Patricia rewrite her history with a deeper understanding, appreciation and a sense of compassion. She created a podcast called Unapologetically Sensitive that focuses on the strengths HSPs have BECAUSE of their sensitivity. Her tagline is: Sensitivity is nothing to apologize for; it’s our superpower! Patricia works online globally working individually with people, and she teaches Online Courses for HSPs that focus on self-care, self-compassion, boundaries, perfectionism, mindfulness, and creating a lifestyle that honors us.

Here's what was discussed:

 - Patricia identifies and describes what it means to be an HSP

- What is supportive and meaningful to HSP's

- What can be difficult for HSP's during a pandemic (and during "normal" times)
