Black expecting mothers are dying at incredibly high rates, the medical system is outwardly discriminating against trans and gender non-conforming people and all of this stems from a system that is incredibly flawed. The healthcare system is meant to protect individuals but but it's also the same system that makes individuals fearful of doctors than death.
