Lately, inside our anxiety coaching group, we've been exploring a question that I believe can completely change the way we approach recovery:
What is your anxiety actually asking from you?
For many people, anxiety becomes something to fight, manage, analyze, or get rid of. But sometimes the symptoms, tension, exhaustion, overthinking, and constant inner alarm may be pointing toward something that has been missing.
Maybe your nervous system is asking for more personal time and fewer automatic yeses.
Maybe it's asking for more movement, adventure, play, connection, or confidence in your body.
Maybe it's asking you to finally speak up instead of continually swallowing your feelings, intentions, and needs.
And sometimes, it may simply be asking you to slow down enough to hear yourself again.
In today's episode, we explore several possibilities behind that question and how listening differently can begin removing some of the confusion, pressure, and struggle surrounding anxiety. This isn't about treating every symptom like a hidden message or finding another thing to fix. It's about becoming more curious about what your life, body, and nervous system may need from you now.
