Do you ever feel like you have to choose between staying open and protecting your peace? Today's practice proves you don't have to choose at all.
Welcome to Day 4 of our 7-day grounding meditation series. Today we use Prithvi Mudra — the earth mudra — as a physical anchor for a healthy boundary. By simply touching the thumb to the ring finger while letting the rest of the hand stay open and relaxed, this guided meditation offers a felt sense of what real protection can feel like: steady, not tense; boundaried, not closed off.

Anyone who struggles with boundaries, feels easily overwhelmed by others' energy, or is searching for grounding mudras, protection meditation, or present moment awareness practices they can return to daily.
You are allowed to protect your energy without losing your softness. A boundary is not a wall — it's simply knowing where you end and someone else begins. You can stay open-hearted and still be safe.
Tonight, before you close your eyes, gently form Prithvi Mudra one more time — thumb to ring finger, hands resting at your sides. Silently repeat: I can stay open, and still be protected. Let your body release anything it's been holding onto or guarding against today. You're safe to rest now.
This is Day 4 of 7. Tomorrow, we move into Nurture with chakra work designed to open you toward self-care. Subscribe so you don't miss it.
