If you ever struggle with overeating at night while watching TV, scrolling your phone, reading a great book, or whatever you like to do to unwind before bed…This is for you.
A lot of people assume that in order to stop overeating at night they need to tell themselves they can't eat past 8pm, or not keep those foods in the house, or that they need to be more disciplined with the food.
But the reality is that these tactics don't work - because they don't address the biological and psychological reasons you're overeating in the first place. In this episode we're going to look at what those reasons are and address them head-on.
Episode Highlights
-The mistake you're probably making earlier in the day that's setting you up for "backdoor hunger" at night.
-How sneaky forms of restriction (including "mental restriction") are probably increasing your compulsions with food in the evening more than you even realize.
-How to create a conscious evening routine that breaks the overeating cycle - rather than trying to white-knuckle it.
