the truth as in MY truth 😉 you guys have been asking me to talk about my life as a dancer and a showgirl, and idk why i have taken this long!!!
this episode is the full arc, from my first solo at 11 years old, growing up competing, quitting dance my senior year of high school, and eventually finding my way back in New York City.
i'm sharing what it was really like to be a freelance artist and performer in NYC. from gogo dancing, being a burlesque kitten, teaching 14 fitness classes in a week, working nightlife three to four nights a week, and what happened when all of that kind of ruined my life (real) <3
this is also the episode where i tell you why i got a full time job again. and why that decision made me a better dancer, a better creator, and a better version of myself!!
you can have a 9 to 5 and be a showgirl. smart AND hot!!! you can nurture every single part of yourself without one thing taking away from another.
the G-Strings are performing all month!!! if you’re in NY, come see us!
LOVE YOU - julia
