Celebrate Self-Care this Labor Day!

Dr. Natalie, Women's Empowerment Coach for Midlife
About this episode

In this episode of Midlife Crisis to a Centered Life Thriving, Dr. Natalie dives into the world of self-care for midlife women. I know that the years between 40 and 60 can be challenging, with all kinds of physical and emotional changes taking place. But fear not! Dr. Natalie has some expert tips to help you navigate this exciting, yet sometimes overwhelming, time of life. Dr. Natalie will educate us on the importance of self-care, and why it's especially crucial for midlife women. She will share some of her wisdom for staying grounded and taking care of ourselves during this particularly tricky time in our lives. Did you know Depression is a significant issue, with 17.3 million American adults affected? Self-care is crucial for managing and preventing depression, but it is often misunderstood. Self-care is not just physical body care, but also emotional, mental, work, private, and social care. It is about doing things that fill us up and give us enough bandwidth to handle stress. Self-care is individualized and needs to change as we age and develop. It includes both boundary-setting and replenishing activities. It is important to ask for help when needed and have a plan for extra support during times of high stress.
