220. Exploring Yojijukugo: My Favorite F...

Sayuri Saying
About this episode

In this episode, I repeatedly referred to 四字熟語 (よじじゅくご) as 四文字熟語(よんもじじゅくご) by mistake. The correct term is 四字熟語(よじじゅくご), and I apologize for the error!

Join us on a journey through the fascinating world of 四字熟語, Japanese four-character idioms. This episode highlights three favorites: 一日一善, encouraging daily good deeds; 腹八分目, promoting mindful eating; and 三日坊主, a reminder of the challenges in maintaining new habits. We'll discuss their meanings, share personal stories on how these idioms apply to everyday life, and inspire you to create your own. Perfect for intermediate and advanced Japanese learners eager to deepen their language skills and cultural knowledge.
