Pradeep was a hard-working employee. He would put in extra number of hours in his office whenever required. Sometimes, he even worked on weekends. He wanted to go on a long vacation for a long time. He had always imagined that he will to a hill station among the clouds. This means that he had envisioned a holiday at a hill station. Finally, his leave was approved and he enjoyed exactly the way he had envisioned.

Listen carefully on how we can use the word envision in 8 different sentences in 8 different situations.

Example number 1 of 8: Everyone had gathered at the fifth anniversary of the federation of the chemical companies. The President’s speech brought tears in everyone’s eyes. He recollected that he started his business with only a hundred rupees. At that time, he had just envisioned a federation and his dream came true after 15 years of hard work.

Example number 2 of 8: The residents of the new building had envisioned a luxurious and comfortable life in their new home. However, owing to the poor quality of raw materials, they faced lots of difficulties. There were constant leakages in the pipes and walls.

Example number 3 of 8: Leo had envisioned a lavish and affluent life. He thought that he will win a lottery and become a millionaire. But you know what? Well, he never purchased a lottery ticket in the first place. So, fortune only favors those who put in an effort.

Example number 4 of 8: Mr. Thakur was the owner of a management consulting firm. He had envisioned that his son will take over after he retires. However, his son was interested in acting and became an actor instead.

Example number 5 of 8: A group of four friends set up a yoga institute. They had not done any research before starting this business. Hence, it failed and they had to shut down the institute within a few months of starting. The business did not succeed the way they had envisioned.

Example number 6 of 8: The sales team had envisioned that they will surpass the revenue that they had generated in the previous year by 25%. They didn’t have the slightest idea that they will surpass it by 40 %

Example number 7 of 8: Rosesh was a good dancer as a child and everyone had envisioned that he will select dancing as a career. However, no one anticipated that he will become a doctor.

Example number 8 of 8: Jack received an e-mail from his boss that he had to travel to Paris for a month. He was thrilled (excited) to travel as he had always envisioned a trip to Paris once in his life.
