REPLAY: Attend to the Details: Episode 1...

ELENA AGUILAR
About this episode

Details can make or break a learning experience, yet are too often overlooked or deprioritized as “logistics.” It’s time for that to change.

In this episode, Elena shares why attending to the details is one of the 7 habits that transform professional development, provides a couple of strategies you can start using right away to better attend to the details, and offers reflection questions to help you in your learning about designing and facilitating PD.

Mentioned in this episode:

Opportunities for continued learning:

Reflection Questions:

  • What are your skills and beliefs around attending to the details?
    • What comes up for you around this?
    • What value do you see in attending to the details?
    • What do you think your skill sets are in this?
  • Recall some moments when you were facilitating PD, and things didn't go the way you wanted them to go.
    •  What role did/might details have played in those challenging moments?
