Find the stillness,
The peace,
The softness inside you,
And settle yourself there.

Keep your focus inward,
On the place of solace,
And let your body relax;
Let every muscle loosen and ease,
So you serene.

Imagine now,
It’s morning,
And you’re
Standing in the belly
Of a canyon,
Surrounded by the
Red Rocks of the Southwest.
PAUSE
The sun is just
Beginning to rise,
Flooding the clouds
With gold, rose and tangerine colors.
PAUSE
And the sun’s arms of light
Reach out to the Red Rocks,
Painting lines around them with the
Same gold, rose and tangerine shades.
PAUSE
You draw in a deep breath,
Moved by Mother Nature’s masterpiece.
And as the sun continues to rise,
Those vibrant colors stripe the rocks.
PAUSE
While the morning sun
Continues her artwork,
Your heart brims with
A joy, a connection to beauty,
that defies
three dimensional words.
PAUSE
So sit with the wondrous feeling–
A feeling of beauty
That touches the soul
At its deepest level.
PAUSE
And through a breeze
In the canyon,
You hear a
Prayer of gratitude whispered.
A blessing to Mother Earth,
For sharing her beauty.
PAUSE
You hold the blessing in you,
And commit to being
A good steward of it.
For the canyon and its magnificence,
Are now painted in you.
