For the purpose of this week’s meditations, awaken means to become consciously aware of something.
Mark Twain said, “the two most important days of your life are the day you were born, and the day you find out why.”
You have gifts that no one else has. There is a reason you are here. And your job is to discover your gifts and bring them to the world. So the intention of today’s meditation is to help you awaken to your gifts, to bring light to the beautiful, unique being that is YOU, so you can begin to or continue to step confidently into the expression of your gifts in this life.
So breathe, my love,
And place both hands at your heart.
Feel your heart beating,
And your breath moving through your lungs.
PAUSE…
This moment is special.
You are special.
PAUSE…
So awaken to your gifts, dear one.
Those ways of being that are all your own.
The experiences you’ve had that have inscribed themselves upon you.
The relationships that have shaped you,
The pain that has strengthened you,
The trials and errors that have guided you.
The joys that have enlightened you.
LONG PAUSE…
Each of these is a puzzle piece,
Adding their flavor to your whole.
PAUSE…
Awaken to them all,
These gifts of yours,
And feel clarity and appreciation for them all.
For no one is quite like you, my dear,
And the more you express them,
The more we all benefit.
