Melda is a Chemical Engineer with an MBA degree. She has built her career in the last 23 years within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry in commercial functions across 3 multi-national companies: Gillette, Procter & Gamble and Kraft Heinz.
She is an agile, resilient, and inclusive leader with proven success across categories such as cosmetics, healthcare, household products and food, and across geographies such as Turkey, Egypt, India and the Arabian Peninsula.
She is passionate about customer/consumer centric organizations and engaged teams. She has been recognized multiple times by Forbes Magazine as one of the most successful CEOs in Middle East for developing crystal-clear strategies, operating plans for all functions, and executing them with excellence for profitable growth in dynamic climates.
