Hope Warshaw RD, CDE, BC-ADM, registered dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She is a past president of the American Association of Diabetes Educators and secretary of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation board.

Katherine Appleton, PhD,  Professor of Psychology at Bournemouth University. Dr. Appleton has published widely in the area of eating behavior, health, and well-being.  Important to today’s topic, she was a co-author on a systematic review and meta-analyses of intervention studies on the effects of low-calorie sweeteners on energy intake and body weight, published in the International Journal of Obesity in 2021.
