The sinking feeling of realizing you made a mistake can be awful. It can lead to panic, fear, embarrassment, and often, binge eating. Presumably you are already trying hard to not make mistakes, so what else can be done? A lot. Here are five precise things to do after you make a mistake to help you get back to your feet emotionally without bingeing. Ideally, try to do them right away. However, if you forget initially and do them later, they still work!
