From the Brink of Death to a Life of Pur...

Sara Davison
About this episode

Kevin Parker is a personal development coach who helps individuals overcome obstacles and find their true warrior within. He has a passion for learning new techniques and strategies to pass along to his clients. As a young adult, Kevin struggled with major depression, anxiety, and heavy drug addiction for almost a decade, eventually ending in a coma due to an overdose.

After waking up in the hospital with multi-organ failure and the potential for brain death and loss of all four limbs, he realized he needed to make a drastic change. He prayed, fought, and never gave up, eventually walking out of the hospital with just one missing leg and a newfound appreciation for life. He has since graduated from the College of Staten Island with a major in psychology and holds certifications in various fields related to addiction recovery and self-development. He currently resides in Staten Island, NY and has been working in the self-development and recovery field for the past five years.
