24. If You're a Perfectionist or an Over...

Alissa Boyer
About this episode

If you ever feel like you're always trying to be smart enough, accomplished enough, and like you have to do things perfectly in order to feel worthy – this episode is for you.

My perfectionist tendencies started from such a young age when I was in middle school and had hardly any self-confidence. I didn't like the way I looked and always felt less worthy than my friends. And so began my journey of perfectionism...spending hours getting ready for school and being in a bad mood if one hair was out of place.

This is no way to live, my friends. You are worthy and perfect just as you are.

In this episode, you’ll learn:

  • About my journey with perfectionism.
  • About how overachieving is really a self-worth problem.
  • How self-awareness is the key to changing old patterns.
